Our sustainability Policy is based upon the following principles:

• To comply with and exceed where practicable, all applicable legislation, regulations and codes of practice;
• To instigate sustainability considerations into all our business decisions;
• To ensure that all staff are fully aware of our Sustainability Policy and are committed to improving it;
• To minimize the impact of sustainability of all manufacturing, administration and transportation activities;
• To make clients and suppliers aware of our Sustainability Policy and encourage them to adopt sound sustainable management practices;
• To review annually and continually strive to improve our sustainability performance;
  

Practical Step Examples

• Avoid travelling to meetings where alternatives are available and practical such as teleconferencing, web cams, etc. These options are often more time efficient while not sacrificing the benefits of regular contact with clients and partners;
• As far as is practicable arrange for the reuse or recycling of manufacturing raw materials [rubber, plastic, fabric], office waste [including paper, computer supplies and redundant equipment];
• Minimise our use of manufacturing and office consumables. An example of this has been reducing our shrink wrap usage on palletised goods by 67% without adversely affecting the pallet stability;
• Reduce the energy consumption of all manufacturing and office equipment by purchasing energy efficient equipment and good housekeeping;
• Purchase electricity from a supplier committed to renewable energy.
