Over a number of years there has been a succession of tiles produced to enable the surface to be dye sublimation printed with varying degrees of UV Stability and Scratch Resistance. To date, however, nothing has been able to match the hardness of a glazed ceramic tile. Whilst tiles can be manufactured to produce excellent images and have an element of hardness, sublimated tiles have been limited in their longevity and ruggedness.
At Purple Mustard the tile of choice is Glass. Due to the fact that images are printed on to the reverse side of the the tile, this medium promises UV stability and resistance to scratches.
Our standard, 200 mm x 300 mm tiles with a textured finish (Chinchilla) are held in stock. Various sizes and surface finishes can be catered for, subject to minimum quantities. All our tiles are made from a minimum 4mm toughened safety glass with tipped corners and the edges polished.

Our Glass Tiles meet with current Health and Safety Standards for residential and commercial wall or floor application.
Purple Mustard make installation easy by providing a grid map of the project, with each tile having it's own unique reference number marked on the grid and also on the corresponding tile with a removable sticker.
Accidents do happen, so individual replacement tiles can be ordered using the grid reference map provided with your order.
