:: Dye Sublimation ::

The term Dye Sublimation can be simply defined by the sentence,

'Solid dye particles being changed into gas, using heat and pressure, which then bond with any Polymers present and return back to a solid state'

The process involves the printing of papers using specialised screen or offset litho inks for longer runs and digital print for shorter runs.

With currently two of the largest available Flat Bed Press (4050mm x 1600mm) Purple Mustard are able to utilise Dye Sublimation to transfer onto many substrates ranging from textiles through to steel and wood, having developed a number of techniques for the more unusual which include ceramics, rubber-backed bar runner, counter and floor mats.
